Board Meeting Minutes, March 25,2023
Members Present: Gary Waller, Todd Fick, Scott Rortvedt, Kathy Eystad, Richard Pautsch, Roger McCannon.
Also attending: Carol McCannon. Meeting held at Chewys Coop in Hoffman.
Financial Report: Todd reported a current balance in checking of $3328.19; $3119.20 in savings, and $1530.07 in the Walleye Fund. Currently there are 67 members.
Invasive Species: Gary reports no aquatic invasive species have been found in the lake, and he reports seeing more Pencil Reeds. Zebra Muscles are present and Scott is developing a method to track their locations.
2023 Directory: Todd, Roger and Kathy will be working on this and we will need to find a new printer as Quality Print in Alexandria has closed.
Carp Trap: Dave has built a trap for the culvert on the south end of the lake, and the local owner has given the OK for installation this spring.
Annual Meeting: 2023 Annual Meeting will be held Saturday, July 8 at Runestone Park. Richard will contact a potential speaker to describe and illustrate walleye stocking. Sweatshirt orders will be taken at that time.
Township Report: Richard (Township Officer) reports lots of hours plowing snow this winter. He also reports that there was discussion about storm shelters. In addition, the Township is working on a permit process for any driveways installed around the lake. He reports there are 72 members on our Facebook page.
