Board Meeting Minutes for April 17th, 2021

Members Present: Gary Waller, Todd Fick, Roger McCannon, Bob Bowden, Kathy
Eystad, Les Kruse. Absent: Dave Zabel, Marsha Parrish.

1. Treasurer's Report:Todd reported that as of January 1, 2021there was
$2288.05 in checking and $6815.72 in savings, for a total of $9103.77. He said
there are 57 current members, out of 114 parcels.
2. President's Report: Gary highlighted certain aspects from a Blue Waters Science
Report of a study of all the vegetation in the lake that was conducted in July 2020.
He noted that the report showed lower levels of vegetation, and the absence of
Zebra Mussels. He said that anyone doing chemical eradication of vegetation
around docks needs to get a permit. He also reported that there is still no market
for Carp.
3. Annual Meeting: it was the consensus that we will have an Annual Meeting to
be held on July 11, but details of where (due to Covid restrictions and/or weather
need to be determined), hopefully in time to notify all members.
4. Annual Directory: each two years we update our Directory and again we will in
2021. Advertising by local businesses more than cover the cost of printing...we
thank them! Mona Ozols, Todd and Roger will contact them.
5. Ice Fishing: concern was again raised as to the increase of ice fishing on the lake
the past several winters, and the effect of more ice house rentals. Suggestion was
made to meet with those individuals providing the service.
6. Association's Website: a proposal for a new website from a web design
company was discussed; general consensus was to proceed, with a final decision
at the next meeting.
7. Next Meeting is scheduled for Friday, May 28 @ 6:00pm at Gary's House.
